Women’s Refresher Course – Colorado Springs, CO

Sign Up Here’s your opportunity to review all of the basic techniques to get you prepared to get out on the water! Not certain about your knots? Questions about how to rig a nymph rod? Need to brush up on your casting skills? Have a question about fly selection? We are offering a 2-part women’s refresher class with a classroom and on-stream portion. On Friday evening we’ll review knots, rigging, equipment, entomology, casting, etc. and then each of you will put these skills into action on the water Saturday. We will fish in the morning, break for lunch, then you can stay and fish in the afternoon. This is a good chance to review the basics. If you are joining our PPWA group on the San Juan River trip in early May, this is a good chance to make sure you are geared up for the trip and ready to go! Bring a lunch for Saturday. We will carpool to our fishing location from Angler’s Covey. Requirements: Must have some fly fishing experience. The cost for this 2-part class is $90. Waders and boots included. Please bring: Fishing license, Sunglasses, jacket, lunch Class will be held at Angler’s Covey in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
