Women’s Introduction to Fly Fishing with Selene Dumaine – Grand Lake Stream, ME
July 5, 2018 - July 9, 2018
$1495
Selene’s school will be a four night, three day foray into the world of fly fishing for landlocked salmon and smallmouth bass in Grand Lake Stream and the St. Croix River. The timing of the school is set during the tail end of the spring migration between lakes for the salmon so the opportunities to really catch fish are significant. As this is a novice school, you will learn everything you need to know to confidently fly fish in your home waters. Skill will include casting technique, reading water, how to handle fish, wade safely, fly selection, knots, fly presentation and more! Immerse yourself in the world of fly fishing and learning. Cozy, private cabins with fireplaces; fine, healthy meals in our dining room; hot showers; and round the clock power make for perfect learning conditions for you so you may focus on the fishing. Join us for this certain to be sold out school with Selene Dumaine.
Selene Dumaine is a Registered Maine Guide and Carrie Stevens reproduction fly tyer (if you don’t know who Carrie Stevens is, you will!), and tyer of presentation quality flies.
All equipment if provided at no charge.
