Find Out More
Weatherby’s Intermediate School for Women will focus on early season nymph and streamer fishing techniques used to catch landlocked salmon. We will be sight nymphing for salmon, learning how to outfit your rod, select flies and present them to salmon lying in wait. We will also learn to cast sink tip lines with streamers focusing on presentation of the fly in order to entice a fish to strike. In addition will learn about early season wading safety and how to dress to stay warm in cold water. This is a fishing and learning experience that will allow participants to be comfortable and confident fishing on their own or with friends after the school. Although you don’t need to be an experienced angler, some experience with fly casting/fishing is helpful. We will teach you the rest!
Please bring your personal clothing, warm gear, wool hat, gloves, etc. We have a good packing list on our web site at https://www.weatherbys.com/gear-for-your-fishing-trip/
All fishing gear – waders, rods, reels, lines, flies – will be included if needed.
Three nights, 2 1/2 days, $1395 per person.
